Welcome to MyBengals.com.au

The Bengal Cat was originally bred from the crossing of the Asian Leopard Cat with selected domestic cats. This helped to satisfy our desire to have the beauty of the exotic big cats and the devotion of a domestic feline.

Bengals make loving, dependable household pets and intelligent companions. They are playful, energetic and entertaining and having them in the house is such a pleasure. They purr like other cats, but are also great communicators and love 'talking' to you. They make varying noises from little chirrups to rather loud cries.                They even growl, when they do not want to share their dinner plate with a litter mate.

My desire is to breed well adjusted friendly house pets, while continuing to improve the standards of the Bengal.

My queens give birth in our house, generally choosing to keep their kittens in a box by my bed for the first 4 weeks.     Once the kittens are litter trained (they do that naturally by watching their mum), they play freely all over the house. Mum and kittens put themselves to bed in my bedroom or their own room each night.

The kittens are not frightened of visitors, or household appliances such as vacuum cleaners. Most of them love to be "computer cats", and insist on being on your lap or the desk whenever you use the computer. My cattery is small, because I want to continue giving personalized and loving attention to all my breeders and their kittens.

You are more than welcome to visit, but as I live in Mackay, that may not be possible. I can email photos of kittens to you.

Transport can be arranged to most places in Australia and overseas.

All kittens are registered with the Queensland Feline Association.

They are vaccinated, wormed and free from parasites.

Bengal pet kittens are sold de-sexed.
